There are plenty of options in the proverbial automated brewing system isle. And the number available seems to go up every few months, so how can you pick the right system for you? We took the five systems in our Comparison of Automated Brewing Systems article and distilled them into this flowchart. It will help guide your buying decision based on the amount of beer you drink, and the amount if you want to create custom recipes or not. Just start at the beginning and work your way to the bottom. Note: right now, the only large batch automated brewing system is the Brewie, and it does allow for both custom recipes or pre-created kits (however it only offers 4 at the moment).
